Knitted sweater – Niko Sweater

The Niko sweater is worked in rounds from top to bottom. It starts with a short rib, then the neckline is shaped using short rows. Next, a jacquard yoke is made, after which the sleeves and body are separated. The sleeve eyelets are placed on pieces of additional yarn, additional threads or large safety pins. The body and sleeves are made at the end. The length of the sweater and sleeves can be easily adjusted to your figure and preferences.

In larger sizes (2XL-5XL), the jacquard pattern is longer to adapt to the greater depth of the yoke.
The instructions are supplemented with supporting videos, which show the techniques of:
– short rows (German Short Rows)
– increasing stitches in jacquard

The navy sweater from the photo was made in size S with a clearance of approx. 2.5 cm, in the colors:
– K1 (main color) – navy (1565)
– K2 (jacquard pattern color) – nature (100)

The mustard sweater from the photo was made in size M with a clearance of approx. 13 cm, in the colors:
– K1 (main color) – mustard (M3578) – color withdrawn from the offer
– K2 (jacquard pattern color) – nature (100)
Knitting needles
To make this sweater you will need: double pointed needles for small circumferences or needles with a long monofilament for working with the “magic loop” technique, 40 cm monofilament needles and 80 cm monofilament needles, in sizes:
-3 mm for making the ribbing
-4 mm
