#CrazyBriocheScrunchie is a terry cloth that can be an accent in a simple styling, but can also be a complement to the #CrazyBriocheSweater or #CrazyBriocheCardi, which will soon appear on our website.
A few words from the author:
”I designed a terry cloth for the #CrazyBrioche series to use up leftover yarn and create something on which you can practice the techniques used before starting a larger project with colorful brioche.
This project requires some practice – due to the stitch used. Of course, I am including a package of tutorials on YouTube with the pattern, so you will be able to catch up on the missing skills. I have also specially added a tutorial for making the simplest terry cloth to the playlist to show that the principle is the same, only the stitch is more complicated.
#CrazyBriocheScrunchie can be made in 3 versions: 2-color (one color is knit stitches, the other color is purl stitches), a slightly more difficult 3-color “checkered” (one color is knit stitches, and the other color alternates in purl rounds) and the most technically difficult 3-color brioche with vertical stripes of knit stitches in 2 colors.
I may have scared you a little, but in reality it’s all simple – you have to want it and practice until it works out. So I hope I’ve just provided you with an opportunity to acquire new skills and another way to use up leftover yarn.
The pattern is described for the continental method. If you use the eastern method, please take this into account when working on the project.”
