Knitted sweater – Crazy Brioche Cardi (3-color checkered version)

#CRAZYBRIOCHECARDI  let your imagination run wild 🙂
A few words from the author
#CrazyBriocheCardi is the fulfillment of my dreams of summoning the sun, even when there are clouds outside. Depending on your skills, you can make it in 2, 3 or even 4 colors. It doesn’t matter what size you wear or how tall you are – this pattern will guide you step by step to a sweater that will express your temperament. I have described the pattern so that the sweater is double-sided, which gives even more styling possibilities.

Design made of FOG yarn

Description

We start working with Crazy Brioche Cardi from the cuff of the left sleeve, in the round, we separate the front and back, then we go through the body working flat, we join the sweater again in the round and finish with the right cuff. Then we finish the pleat with a rib along with the collar and the bottom – this is how we finally regulate the dimensions of the sweater.

This is a project for intermediate and advanced people. The construction is simple, but the three-color patent stitch (brioche) requires some practice. Of course, I am attaching a tutorial package on YouTube to the pattern, so you will be able to catch up on the missing skills.

The photographs present #CrazyBriocheCardi from a 3-color check brioche in the version:
“check madness” – with ribs in one color 1 and stripes of brioche knit stitches in the same color and stripes from purl stitches in colors 2 and 3 (on); The pattern is described for the continental method. If you are using the eastern method, please take this into account when working on the project.

PLEASE NOTE! The pink yarn used in the project is not available in our color palette, it was hand-dyed for the needs of the sweater’s author

ACCESSORIES
To make #CrazyBriocheCardi you will need:
– 9 mm knitting needles on a 60 cm or 80 cm (fixed or interchangeable) line
– 6.5 mm knitting needles on a 60 cm or 80 cm (fixed or interchangeable) line, and if you don’t like the magic loop method, you will also need 6.5 mm sock knitting needles
– 5 markers (knitting markers); it is best if they are snap-in safety pins that can be moved or, if necessary, fastened to the eyelet; however, you can easily replace them with a piece of thread in a contrasting colour
– thread or spare thread to put the stitches aside
– a knitting needle to close the stitches using the cylindrical method and hide the threads
– a piece of thread and a crochet hook of approx. 6 mm size to cast on the stitches using the cylindrical method (tubular cast on) and to cast on the second half of the front for a temporary chain.
